Gas prices spike at several stations

It might be a good time to gas up the vehicle — before prices go up across the board.

Just before 1 p.m., prices at the Petro-Canada on 27th Street and 48th Avenue went to $1.76.9 per litre, an increase of 13 cents from earlier in the day.

As of 8 p.m. Tuesday, several other stations like Safeway and Shell, had also gone to that price, or a penny less.

The price-tracking website Gas Buddy says other outlets in Vernon are still at $1.63.9 per litre.
