Kelowna RCMP investigating death on Lakeshore Road

Kelowna RCMP are investigating a sudden death that occurred Friday morning in the 3400 block of Lakeshore Road.

Police said BC Emergency Health Services alerted the detachment at approximately 7:40 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a deceased male. Investigators say the death is not considered suspicious.

The BC Coroners Service has been notified and is working alongside frontline officers and the Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit as the investigation continues.

“If you have been affected by this incident and require support, please contact the detachment,” said Cpl. Steven Lang, Kelowna RCMP media relations officer. “Our Victim Services team is available to provide compassionate and professional assistance during this difficult time.”

Police said the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone who has not yet spoken with police and may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit.
