Vipers stay alive with OT win over Vees
The Vernon Vipers kept their playoff hopes alive with a dramatic come from behind 3-2 win in overtime over the Penticton Vees on Wednesday night in Vernon.
Vipers captain, and hometown product, Connor Elliott, scored 5:12 into the first OT for the win to cut the Vees series lead to 3 games to one.
Penticton took a 2-0 lead after the first period, only to see the Vipers fight back with goals from Isaac Tremblay in the second period and Erik Pastro at 14:22 of the third to tie it.
