Fuel prices up

Prices at the pump jump nearly 10 cents

Fueling up has gotten more expensive in Vernon.

The fuel price tracking website GasBuddy reported the average price for a litre of regular gasoline in Vernon was $1.67.9 Wednesday, March 20.

That was up nine cents from the average of $1.58.9 per litre Tuesday, and up nine cents from Wednesday, Mar. 13.

The fuel price was also up eight cents on a monthly basis, and nine cents from the same day in 2023.

The website said the average price in Kelowna was $1.63.9.

As of 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Gas Buddy reported that the cheapest fuel in B.C. could be found at the Super Save station in Salmon Arm at $1.54.9 per litre.
