Vipers collar Bulldogs to win both games at home-away-from-home
The Vernon Vipers went two-for-two during their BC Hockey League games held at Kal Tire Place North, capping it off with a 3-2 win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Sunday night.
Luke Pakulak powered the Vipers offence with a goal and one assist and was named the first star before a packed house of 756 fans (official attendance).
The Vipers were playing at the North arena due to repairs and ice -re-installment at Kal Tire Place South which should reopen March 20.
Defenceman Noah Dorey of Surrey added two assists for Vernon who were playing their second official game under new interim head coach Lukas Lomicky after the team announced Saturday it had “parted ways” with head coach and GM Jason McKee who was in his fifth season.
