CMHA Vernon launches Season of Giving campaign

The local mental health organization has launched it’s winter campaign to support people in need.
The Vernon and District Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Season of Giving campaign collects monetary and new unwrapped gifts like winter gloves, books, board games, scarfs, toques, small denomination gift cards and other donations, which are then delivered to CMHA Vernon participants and clients.
Last year, the campaign helped provide over 150 individuals with holiday gifts.
“It’s incredible to think of how many smiles were put on the faces of our participants and clients last year, thanks to the incredible support of members of our community through our Seasons of Giving campaign,” Lenai Moore, Manager of Wellness and Rehabilitation Programs for CMHA Vernon, said.
