Volunteers Needed

ROOtSandBLUES seeks volunteers

Volunteers are still needed for the 30th annual ROOTSandBLUES Festival.

The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, the non-profit organization in charge of the festival, is asking for people to donate their time to ensure the event that runs August 18 to 21 goes smoothly.

“If you’re interested in volunteering, it’s time to fill out your ROOTSandBLUES volunteer application,” said Holly Ketter, volunteer coordinator.

“Planning for this year’s festival is in full swing, and we need your help to create a successful return to live music. Each volunteer is an integral part of ROOTSandBLUES and, frankly, this festival would not be feasible without those giving their time each year.”

ROOTSandBLUES Festival volunteers will receive compensation in the form of a festival pass; meal vouchers; access to the Volunteer Lounge throughout the event; access to the volunteer after-party, which will feature a performance by Five Alarm Funk; a volunteer parking pass; and a one-of-a-kind volunteer shirt.

Those who wish to volunteer can find more information on the festival’s website.
