New shower at Upper Room Mission

Showers in the forecast for Upper Room Mission

It is an amenity Vernon’s Upper Room Mission has been looking to add for some time.

The non-profit facility that helps the less fortunate has announced it now has a shower for its clients to use.

“This is a big deal for the Upper Room Mission and the first time we have had a shower program,” said a Facebook posting from the Mission.

The social agency on 27th Avenue says it got a lot of help with the project, and is thanking those that helped make it happen.
