COVID-19 cases in the Interior continue upwards trend
The Interior’s upwards trend of COVID-19 cases continued Tuesday.
Interior Health’s active case count rose to 7,297 Tuesday as 319 new infections were identified in the region.
The cases were part of 1,446 reported throughout B.C. Tuesday, as the provincial active case count rose to 32,468.
The number of British Columbians hospitalized due to COVID-19 decreased to 985 Tuesday (down by 2), though the number of patients in intensive care rose to 144 (increase of 15).
