Vees comeback snatches victory from Vipers

The Vernon Vipers would like to turn back the clock on the outcome of their Retro-Night game.

The Vipers squandered a 3-0 lead in the third period and lost 4-3 to the Penticton Vees before a season-high crowd of 1,459 at Kal Tire Place Saturday night.

Reagan Milburn, Ryan Shostak and Luke Buss scored for Vernon who fell to 4-9-3-2 in 18 games.

The Vipers were debuting their retro jerseys as part of the BC Hockey League’s 60th anniversary celebration.

Penticton improved to 14 and 2 on the season and got two goals from Brett Moravec.

The Vipers next game is Wednesday, Dec. 1 when they host the West Kelowna Warriors

The North Okanagan Knights lost 3-2 to the Princeton Posse in the KIJHL.
