Allan Brooks Nature Centre presents ‘Light The Night Auction’

2021 marks the 3rd annual Light The Night on-line auction in support of the Allan Brooks Nature Centre (ABNC).

Organizers say the success of the centre this year has been made possible in large part due to generous community members.

“We are reaching out to you, as a request for support of ABNC in the upcoming season by making a donation on Giving Tuesday, join as a member or participating in Light The Night on-line auction,” said Cheryl Hood, centre manager.

“We have made your Christmas shopping easy with 14 gift ideas. You can place your bids on any of the 14 incredible gift items available. Rare wines, experiences, art and holiday season items are all up for bid. There is something for everyone on your holiday wish list or treat yourself,” Hood added.

Bidding begins at 9:00 a.m. on Dec. 3 and closes on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 8:00 p.m.

People can purchase a 2022 Allan Brooks Nature Centre membership or make a 2021 charitable receipted tax donation by December 31.

“Your contribution supports ongoing nature education and habitat preservation in our community,” Hood said.
