Public asked to assist in identifying B&E suspect

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is seeking information from the public relating to the identify of a suspect from a break and enter in September.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, when a man entered a home on Hartnell Road through an unsecured pet door.

Video surveillance captured the man breaking into the house where he stole several items including two chainsaws, a car battery and a bicycle.

The homeowner, who was away from the residence at the time of the break in, contacted the police immediatly after returning home and discovering that a theft had occurred.
