Lavington crash results in injuries

A crash during the snowfall in Lavington resulted in at least two people being taken to hospital.

Police say an eastbound pickup truck collided with an oncoming Mazda passenger vehicle in the 5300 block of Highway 6 Thursday afternoon around 4:00 p.m..

A witness told Vernon Matters one vehicle ended up overturned.

“Prior to the arrival of police, the occupants of one vehicle were transported from the scene by BC Ambulance Service personnel for treatment of non-life threatening injuries,” said Constable Chris Terleski.
