RCMP seek information in horse shooting

Police in the Salmon Arm area are investigating the killing of a horse.

Officers were called to a property in the 800 block of Grandview Bench Road, south east of Salmon Arm, on Oct. 9 for a report that a horse had been shot and killed.

Staff Sgt. Scott West said they are working with the BC SPCA to identify the person responsible, but need public assistance.

“If you were in the 800 block of Grandview Bench Road between Oct. 8 at 11 a.m and 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 9 and have any information which may help with this investigation, we are asking you to call us,” West stated.
