COVID exposures at Vernon schools

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) is reporting that there have been COVID-19 exposures at two secondary and one Vernon elementary school.

Vernon W.L. Seaton Secondary Potential exposure: Feb. 16, 17, 18, 19
Vernon Vernon Secondary School Potential exposure: Feb. 18
Vernon Ecole Beairsto Elementary Potential exposure: Feb. 19, 22

There was also an exposure reported at George Elliot Secondary School in Winfield on Feb. 26, 27.

Interior Health will follow up with contact tracing to ensure anyone who was exposed takes the necessary testing and isolation measures.
