The Vernon Vipers are taking on more than just their valley rivals as they try keep the hockey business up and running.
“It’s been challenging without revenue from ticket sales, and it’s a different atmosphere for the players as well,” Todd Miller, the Vipers’ vice president said. “We have really good sponsors and a lot of them have hung in there with us. We live in an incredible city, so that has helped a lot.”
Miller told Vernon Matters they aren’t like most other businesses and have written and re-written COVID-19 plans dozens of times to deal with challenges and changes.
