Foster seeks fourth term as MLA
Eric Foster, the three-term Liberal MLA for Vernon-Monashee, still has some unfinished business and will seek a fourth term representing the local riding.
“This election is totally unneccessary. John Horgan is putting politics ahead of people,” Foster said. “The NDP has had six or seven months to put a recovery plan together. Last week they announced they are making a plan, other provinces have had plans in place for months. People don’t want any more studies, they want to get back to work. The Liberal party is better equipped to get the economy back on track.”
Premier Horgan announced Monday the province will go to the polls Saturday October 24 to determine if his minority government gets another mandate to govern during the COVID pandemic.
