Erosion repairs will shut down part of Rail Trail
Part of the popular Okanagan Rail Trail will be shut down as of next week.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) said erosion mitigation work on its section of the trail will start Monday, Sept. 21.
The section from 4 km to 12.5 km will be closed until mid-October.
The project will include digging into the path and rebuilding damaged spots, which means the trail will be closed 24/7 throughout the work.
