Truck swerves off road and hits vehicle at dealership

Police say a medical issue was the cause of a crash at an auto dealership in Vernon.

A pickup truck was southbound on 27th Street around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday when the driver suffered a medical issue.

“As a result, the vehicle swerved off the road, over a median and collided with a vehicle parked at a dealership. The parked vehicle was pushed into two other parked vehicles,” Cpl. Tania Finn, media relations officer for Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, said.

Finn said no one was injured as a result of the incident.
