Six arrested after drug bust at rural home
Four women and two men now face possible charges after a drug bust at a rural Joe Rich home on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Police executed the search warrant at a home in the 7500 block of Falcon Road, seized $1,400 in cash, 95 pounds of dried marijuana bud and roughly 2,000 plants.
Fortis BC was called in to cut power to the home so officers could safely seize the evidence.
“These types of investigations are laborious, and our investigators worked tirelessly to secure the evidence,”
RCMP Cpl. Meghan Foster said. “The policing jurisdiction for Joe Rich is the West Kelowna RCMP and while the optics of this may pose as a logistical hurdle for our investigators, the results of yesterday should reassure the public that it is not.”
