On Tuesday, July 16, 2019, Marjory Helen Kuhn, loving wife and mother of two, passed away at age 54. Marjory endured a courageous 2.5 year battle with cancer and her last moments were spent in the arms of her immediate family. Marjory was born October 13, 1964 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England to Anthony Thomas Green of Moffat, Scotland and Julie Green of Vernon (deceased). She immigrated to Canada as a child with her mother and two sisters, Lisa Green of Ottawa, Ontario and Marie Green of Kelowna, British Columbia. Marjory resided in Vernon where she married her husband Christopher Larry Kuhn of Vernon, British Columbia on August 1, 1987. Together they raised two children, Amanda Chantel Kuhn and Brandon James Kuhn in Coldstream.
Marjory was a caretaker at heart and always ensured everyone was well taken care of. She effortlessly provided a loving, caring and welcoming environment to her dear family and friends. She will truly be missed as she was the stitch in the fabric that held everyone together.
Hold that tear close before the flood gates tire,
I play connect the dots with the stars in the night sky
Hoping you will never say goodbye.
The day I dread that you will leave my side,
Is the day that all the emotions collide.
I held your hand to the very end…but this is not a goodbye.
For the heart can ache, the mind can suffer, and the eye can cry but the spirit will live on.
Barefoot, tippy toeing through blank pages, leaving nothing but impressions of a path you once led, I take the torch and continue with the legacy that you have left within me.
For you, for me, for us all, together the memory of you will carry on
My mother, you were my dear, the one that was there to inspire.
I take this torch and I raise it to my cold lips and blow a kiss to release the anguish into the stale air, illuminating my desire.
I will stop at nothing to continue to make you proud,
For you were the one that gave me this fire.
There will be no funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vernon Funeral Home, Phone: 250 542 0155
