The Moonlight Movie Tour is back!
In partnership with Interior Savings, the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club will be hosting movies from Okanagan Falls to Vernon.
People are invited to join in on the family-friendly event.
The Vernon location is the DND Grounds at ball diamond #2 at 2950 15th Avenue on Aug. 16 at 7 p.m.
“Not only is the Moonlight Movie Tour a ton of fun, but it’s also an opportunity to help make a difference in your community. Attendance at the event is by donation with all proceeds going to Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs programs and services that support children, youth and families,” said a City of Vernon news release.
The suggested admission donations are $3 per person, or $10 per family.
The fun begins at 7 p.m. with the opening of the concession stand and activities for the whole family.
The movie, the box office hit ‘How To Train Your Dragons,’ begins at dusk, and it is recommended you bring blankets, pillows and warm clothes.
