Bike accident victim flown to treatment

Emergency personnel rushed to a remote road in the North Okanagan Wednesday afternoon to respond to a 9-1-1 call about a dirt bike accident.

It happened on Noble Canyon Forest Service Road in the Coldstream area, and while we don’t know the details of what happened, B.C. Emergency Health Services says one person was air ambulanced out of the area.

“Two paramedic ground units were dispatched to the scene and we auto-launched an air ambulance helicopter from Kamloops,” said Shannon Miller, Communications Officer, BC Emergency Health Services.
