RCMP investigating liquor store robbery

RCMP are investigating after a robbery took place Thursday evening in Armstrong .

The incident occurred just before 10.p.m. at the Ranch Liquor Store located on 2570 Pleasant Valley Road.

According to police, a man entered the store holding what looked to be a sawed off shotgun . The man then allegedly demanded cash and cigarettes and then fled the store.

Police are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.

RCMP say the man is roughly 6’2-6’3 with a thin build, wearing a dark blue or black jacket, a black bandana, sunglasses and black pants.
