Car crash near recreation center

Traffic was slow moving Wednesday afternoon following a vehicle crash near the Greater Vernon Recreation Center.

Witnesses at the scene tell Beach Radio News that a blue sedan ran a stop sign and a white passenger bus struck the vehicle .

The incident happened around 5 p.m. Crews were on scene for about an hour.

It is unclear if there were any injuries. Beach Radio News has reached out to officials for further comment.
