Groups Get Grants

Several North Okanagan groups will be getting project development grants from the BC government.

The North Okanagan Food Action Society and O’Keefe Ranch and Interior Heritage Society will each get $10,000, while the Lumby Chamber of Commerce will get $9,500.

The grants are aimed at supporting rural communities.

A total of $673,124 will be distributed to 68 local governments, First Nations and not-for-profit organizations.
