It didn’t take long for tips to start coming into police on an robbery suspect in Enderby.
A few hours after details of the Dec. 29th case were released to the media along with the suspect’s photo, police have identified the suspect.
“Since the original release was sent out, the RCMP has received numerous tips and phone calls in regards to the suspect’s identity,” says RCMP Cst. Kelly Brett. “Police would like to thank media and public for their assistance on this matter.”
Brett says the file remains under investigation.
Mounties say a woman attempted to rob an elderly man in the parking lot of an Enderby bakery the morning of Dec 29th.
The woman allegedly made threats to stab the victim if he didn’t produce money which led to a brief struggle and the man being able to get into his vehicle and drive away.

Police are looking for help to identify a robbery suspect from over the holidays in the North Okanagan.
Mounties say a woman attempted to rob an elderly man in the parking lot of an Enderby bakery the morning of Dec 29th.
“Policed learned that the elderly male victim was approached by an unknown female who allegedly made threats to stab the victim if he didn’t produce money. A brief struggle ensued, however the male victim was able to get into his vehicle and drive away without injury,” says Cst. Kelly Brett.
Brett says they are seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect
“Although this incident is isolated, the RCMP would like to identify and hold this person responsible for her actions. No one wants to attend their community bakery and feel unsafe.”
The suspect female is described as Caucasian, mid to late 40’s years of age, about 5’4″, blonde hair, thin build and wearing a camouflage jacket and jeans.
