Traffic Problems on Hwy 97 South

A caller to Beach Radio News just moments ago reports 2 vehicles on Hwy 97 North of Vernon are affecting traffic.

One affects South bound traffic just before the Kal Lake lookout reducing traffic flow to singe lane.

The other is just before the Bailey Road turnoff to the dump and that is affecting North bound traffic.

Obviously roads are slippery at higher elevations and motorists are urged to expect black ice as the temperature fluctuates between plus and minus.
