Campaign Nears Goal

Despite a slow start, the Light A Bulb Campaign for Vernon Jubilee Hospital is now expected to meet its goal of 275-thousand dollars.

Lisa Westermark, executive director with the VJH Foundation, doesn’t provide an updated total, but says the 31st annual campaign has picked up a lot of momentum.

The funding will provide equipment to perform more surgeries,  reducing wait times and improving patient outcomes.

“We are getting closer and are so thrilled with the generosity of our community,” says Westermark. “Seeing people come together and hearing why they are donating to Light A Bulb is what inspires us to do our work.”
