Campaign Donations Down
The Vernon Salvation Army is making an appeal for donations, with its main fundraiser of the year coming up short so far.
With 11 days to go, the kettle campaign has raised about 190-thousand dollars, which is $20,000 behind last year’s target
Lt. Stefan Reid (pictured) says the campaign provides much needed year round funds to individuals and families.
“We encourage those in our community to help us in any way possible. We know that this time of the year can be challenging for many, however it’s because of these generous donations that give people Hope during the Christmas season.”
