North Okanagan housing sales, prices declined in August
Housing prices mainly declined as sales fell in the North Okanagan last month.
The Association of Interior Realtors (AoIR) said there were 111 housing sales across the region in August, down from 162 in July and from 167 sales in August of 2025.
In the latest reporting month, the AoIR reported 60 single family home sales, 13 townhouse sales and 12 condominium/apartment sales in the North Okanagan. Sale totals were down across the board for all housing types on an annual basis, and while condo/apartment sales increased on a monthly basis there were declines for the other categories.
Benchmark prices for single family homes saw modest increases on both a monthly and annual basis to $794,300. However, the other types saw declines on an annual and monthly basis with benchmark prices for townhouses recorded at $545,900 and for condo/apartments at $302,400.
