Suspicious grass fires

Aug 5, 2026 | 1:17 PM

Two suspicious fires kept crews busy in the Commonage area Tuesday afternoon.

RCMP say the grass fires started near Commonage Road and Bench Row Road, with both incidents believed to be suspicious.

Firefighters contained the flames before any structures were damaged or anyone was hurt.

Police are asking witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
