‘Milestone’ Artsolutely raised over $350K

The principle event that supports the Vernon Community Art Centre surpassed all expectations.
The Arts Centre (VCAC) said the 20th annual Arsolutely artisan market and fundraiser was a milestone event as it raised over $350,000 for the group. Organizers said the total was far above their goal, and was 24 per cent more than the total raised the year before.
VCAC also said the event drew “unprecedented attendance” who browsed stalls featuring more than 40 artists and purchased more than 15,000 one-of-a-kind items, which the group said showed how people support the North Okanagan arts community.
“We were inspired by how intentional people were with their shopping this season,” Emma Kopp, VCAC Marketing and Events Coordinator, said.
