Registration open for annual Enterprize Challenge

Registrations for the annual entrepreneur competition in the North Okanagan has opened.

Community Futures North Okanagan are accepting applications for the 2026 Enterprize Challenge.

This year the challenge aims to support individuals and groups who have a great business concept or idea but haven’t started yet, and those who started a business in the past year and want to accelerate their growth.

The competitions provides a platform for individuals and groups in the region to develop their business concepts, secure mentorship, and compete for start-up capital and business services prizes.

“We are excited to once again support the entrepreneurial spirit in the North Okanagan through the Enterprize Challenge,” Margo Fleming, Business Services Manager at Community Futures North Okanagan, said.

“This program has a proven track record of helping entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality, and we encourage anyone with a promising business idea to apply.”

Successful applicants will participate in a program aimed at providing them with essential skills and knowledge through workshops focused on business development, mentorship sessions with business professionals, and networking opportunities with peers, mentors and local business leaders.

Local entrepreneurs wishing to take part in the 2026 Enterprize Challenge can apply through Community Futures North Okanagan’s website. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2026.
