Community Clean Up event to go Wednesday

The agency that supports people experiencing homelessness will host a Community Clean Up event in Vernon Wednesday.

Turning Points Collaborative Society will hold the event from 1 to 4 p.m. on March 19, which will see staff and members of the public to come together and care for the community.

Participants will focus on cleaning up the area that spans from the emergency shelter, past the supportive housing, and over to the agency’s offices and Polson Supportive Housing.

Turning Points will hold a community barbecue to close out the event.
