Coldstream area firefighters responded to over 330 calls in 2024
Firefighters in Coldstream responded to over 330 calls for service last year.
The yearly report presented to the District of Coldstream Council showed the Coldstream fire hall responded to 240 service requests in 2024.
Alarms, ambulance services, motor vehicle incidents, brush and gras fires, and burning complaints were the top five calls the Coldstream hall responded to last year.
The fire station noted it also responded to high risk calls in the Kalamalka Provincial Park where members worked alongside B.C. wildfire Service, and also dispatched crews to neighbouring communities to help where needed last year.
