Wildfire sparked near Revelstoke

A new wildfire sparked in the Shuswap Monday.
The B.C. Widlfire Service said the fire was discovered at Wap Creek, near Three Valley west of Revelstoke, at 11:06 a.m. July 15.
The fire was 2.1 hectares in size and classified as Out of Control at last update. It’s suspected of being caused by a lightning strike.
The BCWS said three initial attack crews, two helicopters and airtankers were responding to the blaze.
