Sewer upgrades planned for Vernon street

Motorists may face some delays while sewer utilities on 25th Avenue are upgraded.

The City of Vernon said, starting as early as Tuesday, June 18, crews will be installing water and sanitary services on 25th Avenue between 39th and 37th streets.

Single lane traffic will be maintained in both directions for the duration of the work, which is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Thursday, June 20, barring any unforseen complications.

The city reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious of workers and equipment, and follow all traffic control measures in the work zone.
