Testing on cultural centre site shuts down part of city parking lot

Geotechnical work is underway today (May 2) on the site of the future Greater Vernon Cultural Centre in downtown Vernon.
An engineering crew is conducting soil testing in the south end of the City of Vernon parking lot on 31st Avenue
Due to the work, the daily and hourly parking spots in that lot will not be available for today and Friday.
The $41.9 million cultural centre is scheduled to move to the construction phase in the fall of 2025.
