Phases 1 and 2 of a new multi-use pathway on Boucherie Road in West Kelowna are now complete.

The city said the new infrastructure will provide safe off-street travel for pedestrians, cyclists, and other non-motorized uses.

With emergency watermain repairs and roadwork now completed, West Kelowna council is encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the new pathway.

West Kelowna council held its final council meeting on April 23 at its current site on Cameron Road.

Council chambers will move to the city’s first purpose-built City Hall that provides more space for the public to see and hear meetings.

Until the move can be completed in the new building, the location of the next regular council meeting, set for May 14, will be confirmed by May 10.
