Mar 9, 2024 | 12:00 PM

Construction will begin on the Becker Bike Park Phase Two project as early as Monday, March 11.

To allow for the construction of new park amenities, phase two will begin with the clearing and removal of trees and shrubbery as well as earthworks.

The project is anticipated to continue until summer 2024.

Facilities will include a dirt jump zone, paved pump track, and a skilled drop zone.

The plans calls for the existing trails, including the hiking trail, to be improved, and an additional access point to a two-way trail would be established off 35th Street as well.

For safety reasons, users should anticipate area closures to Becker Park (see the map below).
