ATV rider rescued after accident

Vernon Search And Rescue (VSAR) was tasked with rescuing an ATV rider on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 7.

Rescue crews were dispatched by B.C. Emergency Health Services to the scene of the ATV accident in the Haro Lake area.

The rider, along with their party, was located and assessed by VSAR medics.

The rider was loaded onto a stretched and into the rescue-bogan, then towed back to the forest service road where paramedics were waiting.
