The ski season is still at least six months away, but SilverStar Mountain Resort is doing its best to get skiers and boarders excited.

The resort has launched its early bird winter season passes, while also announcing improvements for next season.

The upgrades include the addition of 21 new gondola cabins to increase uphill capacity, adding additional parking spaces with the expansion of E lot and two new grooming machines to further improve the snow surface.

“SilverStar is continuing to invest in the mountain experience to make next season a great one and we will continue to listen to our guests to look at future investment,” Ian Jenkins, director of sales and marketing, said.

Jenkins said their My1 season pass features the same payment plans as last year.

“Like previous years, pass holders can take advantage of SilverStar’s interest-free payment plans and split their My1Pass into six easy payments. The interest-free payment plan is also available for family passes,” Jenkins explained.

The mountain has also launched the SilverStar 4Pack which features any four days throughout the season, no blackouts, and if purchased by August 31, guests get a fifth day free.

SilverStar is also continuing its relationships with other mountains in the area.

“The pass will also include two free ski days at Sun Peaks and Apex, mountain discounts, and access to seven different mountain activities,” Jenkins stated.
