Silverbacks make it two straight over Vipers in pre-season

The Vernon Vipers are still looking for their first win of the BC Hockey League’s pre-season.

Kamloops product Lian Gayfer scored one goal and added an assist to power the Salmon Arm Silverbacks over the Vipers 4-2 at Kal Tire Place Tuesday night.

Nanaimo native Luke Lavery and Revy Mack from Anchorage netted goals for the Vipers who opened the exhibition season with a 6-3 loss in Salmon Arm Sunday.
