New council candidates declared in Vernon, Enderby

More area residents have entered the running for the upcoming civic elections.

Ross Hawes filed papers to run for a council spot in the City of Vernon. He has no prior experience in local politics.

Meanwhile in Enderby, incumbent Coun. Roxanne Davyduke and newcomer David Ramey have officially entered the council race.

As of Wednesday morning, no new candidates had submitted their paperwork for Coldstream, Armstrong or Spallumcheen.
