City of Vernon making tuning in to Council meetings easier

Residents who tune in to watch Vernon City Council meetings online will have an easier time accessing the feed.

The City of Vernon will be making the livestream and recorded videos for Committee of the Whole, Regular Council Meetings and Public Hearings available within the Council meeting calendar page effective Monday, July 18.

The calendar includes upcoming and past meetings, and lists each meeting’s date and time, agenda, and now access to the video feed.

The old system required visitors to click out of the agenda page to watch the video feed.

The City of Vernon noted that video feed options will not appear until the meeting is in progress and that meetings recorded prior to July 18 will not be available within the newly established meeting calendar.
