COVID-19 figures on the decline in Interior
Interior Health is seeing COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths linked to the virus on the decline.
The weekly report from the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) showed there were 218 cases of COVID-19 in the Interior between May 22 and 28, down from the 281 cases the week before.
The report stated there were 29 people admitted to hospital with COVID-19, down from the 63 hospital admissions the previous week.
There were 10 deaths reported in the Interior during the week, down from the 14 confirmed the week prior.
