Trustees seek input before deciding on vaccine policy
Nov 26, 2021 | 1:45 PM
The North Okanagan Shuswap School Board is going to get more information before making a decision on a mandatory vaccine policy for School District 83 staff.
After a meeting this week, trustees have directed administration to get more data from Interior Health and to begin a consultation process.
“[That will] involve employee groups, Indigenous rights holders and the community as outlined in the Ministry of Education K-12 Sector Guidelines for Vaccination Policies,” said a District 83 information update.
