The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is seeking public input on its website’s new format.

The RDNO says the site was rebuilt a redesigned to create a clean looking space that has improved functionality and easier navigation.

The new design was released in a soft launch on Nov. 3, and the RDNO now wants to hear from the public at large.

“The last website refresh occurred in 2012, so it was time for us to consider how we could improve the user experience. The new website allows us to share information in a more effective and efficient method,” said Ashley Gregerson, RDNO Communications Officer.

The Regional District said the new website now has pages for each member municipality; has grant portals that allow for an easy application process; has a career opportunities section; is citizen-focused with built-in surveying and public engagement capabilities; and will publish news releases on issues that affect the community.

The public is encouraged to explore the new RDNO website and then complete the survey, which will be open until Dec. 3.
