Garden waste/leaf drop-off cancelled in Coldstream

The District of Coldstream has cancelled the Fall Garden Waste/Leaf Drop-Off program this year.
The District scrapped the event, which would have gone at the Middleton Mountain Dr. Transfer Station, due to considerations with the useable area of the transfer station, managing traffic and the public while maintaining public health orders and the site-specific mitigation measures that have already been put in place at the landfill.
The District said that while this event is cancelled, yard and garden waste can still be dropped off at any Regional District of North Okanagan Diversion and Disposal Facility free of charge.
